Everything Lets Watch does
This page lists every capability in the product, including the tools only staff can reach. Nothing in Lets Watch is unlocked by a code, a hidden gesture, a specific account, a date, a region or a build setting: every signed-in member sees the same app, and the only differences are the Premium limits and the staff moderation tools described below.
Available to everyone, without an account
- Browse the homepage, trending titles and trailers supplied by The Movie Database.
- Read member reviews of films and watch rooms, the blog, and all policy pages.
- Report a problem or contact support without signing in.
After you create an account (free)
- Discovery feed with trailers, watchlist and watch history.
- Matching with other members — up to 20 swipes a day on the free plan.
- Direct chat with people you match with: text, emoji, voice notes and video notes.
- Watch rooms — host 1 a day on the free plan — with a shared queue, live chat, emoji reactions, and voice and video calls.
- AI-assisted “fresh finds” suggestions based on titles you liked.
- Rate and review films and rooms; reviews are published exactly as written.
- Report or block any member from the same menu, anywhere their content appears.
- Delete your account and stored photos at any time from your profile.
Premium (€7.99 per month)
- Unlimited matching instead of 20 swipes a day.
- Unlimited watch rooms instead of 1 a day.
- AI recommendations based on the titles you liked.
- Billed monthly, renews automatically until you cancel, no free trial, cancel any time from the billing portal.
What Lets Watch deliberately does not do
- It does not host, stream, upload, download or decrypt any film or series. Playback happens on the licensed service you already pay for.
- Pasted “where to watch” links are accepted only for licensed services (Netflix, Prime Video, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Apple TV+, Paramount+, Peacock, MUBI, Criterion Channel, BBC iPlayer, YouTube, TMDB). Any other address is refused, so no unreviewed video can be introduced into the app.
- It never asks for or stores streaming-service passwords. Connecting a service saves only the page you want opened.
- It has no referral rewards, no rating prompts, no incentives for reviews, and no simulated users, activity counters or countdowns.
Staff tools (role-restricted, listed here for transparency)
- Administrators and moderators can open a moderation queue to review reports, remove or restore content, warn, suspend, ban or unban an account, and read the full moderation history. Every action records a written reason.
- Administrators can edit the text of the policy pages and see anonymous trailer engagement counts.
- These tools change no one’s content silently: removed content is marked as removed and remains auditable. They are granted by database role only and cannot be unlocked from inside the app.
If you believe something in the app behaves differently from this page, please report it or contact us. See also our Terms, Privacy Policy and Content Moderation Policy.
